Earthlings is an American documentary film from 2005, directed by Shaun Monson. The film is about the exploitation of animals by mankind for food, clothing, entertainment, scientific research and the pet industry. The film covers topics such as industrial farms, pet shops, commercial dog breeding farms, animal experiments. It shows industries that use animal cruelty and many scenes are disturbing, so the film is not recommended for people under 16 years of age. The narrator of the film is the famous actor Joaquin Phoenix, and the film is accompanied by Moby’s music.

The film received the award for the best documentary film at the ‘Artivist’ film festival, as well as the award for the best film content at the Boston International Film Festival. At the San Diego Film Festival, Earthlings won the Best Documentary Award, as well as the Humanity Award for Joaquin Phoenix’s work on the film.
